Iran’s first school of puppet theater for the deaf opens in Tehran

TEHRAN -- The Art and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality has established the first school of puppet theater for the deaf at Shafaq Cultural Center.

 
The school was inaugurated during a ceremony here on Tuesday evening attended by Samineh Baghcheban, daughter of Jabbar Baghcheban, founder of the first Iranian school for the deaf in 1924, the Persian service of IRNA reported on Wednesday.

“When I attend such ceremonies, I find out that my father’s efforts were not useless,” Samineh Baghcheban said at the ceremony.

“The sapling my father planted many years ago in support of the deaf has now grown into a big tree with the support of family members and friends of the deaf people of the society,” she added.

She regarded the deaf the best actors in life and added, “The art of theater is in the hands of the deaf, since they learn to reinforce their vision from the very beginning; they actually learn to live through seeing their surroundings better.”

The ceremony was brought to an end with a puppet show performance. Safaq Cultural Center is located on Asadabadi St., Yusefabad neighborhood.

برتری منتظران ظهور

امام سجّاد (علیه‌ السلام):
یا أبا خالِدٍ! إنَّ أهْلَ زَمانِ غَیْبَتِهِ، القائِلیِنَ بِإمامَتِهِ، المُنْتَظِرینَ لِظُهُورِهِ، أفْضَلُ مِنْ أهْلِ کُلِّ زَمانٍ.
ای أبا خالد! مردمان زمان غیبت امام زمان (ع)، اگر به امامتش اعتقاد، و برای ظهورش انتظار برند، از مردم همۀ دورانها برترند.
 O ’Abā Khāled, the people living in the time of Imām Mahdī’s major occultation are superior to the people living in every other period, provided that they believe in his leadership and if they await his reappearance

صفت نادان

إنّ الْجاهِلَ مَنْ عَصَی اللهَ وَإنْ كانَ جَميلَ‌ الْمَنْظَرِ عَظيمَ ‌الْخَطَرِ.
نادان كسی است كه خدا را نافرمانی كند هرچند خوش‌سيما و بلند‌پايه باشد.
An ignorant person is one who disobeys God, even though he may be good-looking and of high rank

برابری در قضاوت

امام علی (علیه ‌السلام):
مَنِ ابتُلِیَ بِالْقَضاءِ فَلْيُواسِ بَيْنَهُم في الإشارَةِ وَفي النَّظَرِ وَفي الْمَجْلِسِ.
آنکه بر مسند قضاوت می‌نشیند باید میان مردم در اشاره و نگاه و نشستن برابری را مراعات کند.

فضيلت شهید

A Farmer

A farmer owns a lot of land. He grows food on that land. He grows the food from seeds. He plants seeds into the land. The seeds grow into corn. The seeds grow into wheat. The seeds need water. The seeds need sunlight. A farmer owns a tractor. He drives the tractor on his land. A farmer has many animals. He has pigs. He has cows. He has sheep. He has chickens. He has dogs and cats. جامع صفات پیامبران

درخت‌كاری

امام صادق (عليه ‌السلام):
اِزْرَعُوا وَاغْرِسُوا وَاللهِ ما عَمِلَ النّاسُ عَمَلاً أجَلَّ وَلا أطْيَبَ مِنْهُ.
كشت كنيد و درخت بنشانيد. به خدا قسم،‌ آدمیان كاری برتر و پاکتر از این نكرده‌اند.

آثار صلۀ رحم

امام باقر (عليه‌ السلام):
صِلَةُ الأرْحامِ تُحَسِّنُ الْخُلُقَ وتُسَمِّحُ الْکَفَّ وتُطَیِّبَ النَّفْسَ، وتَزِیدُ في الرِّزْقِ وتُنْسِئُ في الأجَلِ.
صلۀ رحم خُلق را نیکو، دست را (گشاده)، جان را پاکیزه و روزی را زیاد می‌کند و اجل را به تأخیر می‌اندازد

Observing ties of kinship leads to good manners, generosity, purity of soul, increase of daily bread, and delay of death.

امام باقر (علیه السلام):

لا تَذْهَبُ بِکُمُ المَذاهِبُ فَوَاللهِ ما شِیعَتُنا إلّا مَنْ أََطاعَ اللهَ.

روز مبادا

امام علی (عليه ‌السلام):

اگر در میان جمعی بودی و از کسی غیبت شد، آن فرد را ياری كن و آن جمع را از بدگويی بازدار و از میانشان برخيز و برو.

 

If you were among a group of people who are backbiting someone, you should help the backbitten person, prevent them from backbiting him, and leave them.

نشر حدیث

رسول خدا (صلّی الله علیه و ‌آله):
مَنْ أدَّی إلی اُمَّتِي حَدیثاً یُقامُ بِهِ سُنَّةٌ أو یُثْلَمُ بِهِ بِدْعَةٌ فَلَهُ الجَنَّةُ.هر کس به امّت من حدیثی رسانَد که به سبب آن سنّتی بر‌پا شود یا در بدعتی رخنه افتد، بهشت از آنِ او خواهد بود

He who gives my ummah a hadith by which a sunnah is stablished or is made a hole in a heresy, he deserves the Paradise.

آنچه عمر را زياد می‌كند

امام صادق (علیه السلام):
إنْ أحْبَبْتَ أنْ یَزِیدَ اللهُ في عُمرِكَ فَسُرَّ أبَوَیْكَ.
اگر دوست دارى خداوند بر عمرت بيفزايد، پدر و مادرت را شاد كن.

مراقبت از زبان

حدیث قدسی

یا أحمَدُ، لَیْسَ شَيْءٌ مِنَ العِبادَةِ أحَبَّ إلَيَّ مِنَ الصَّمْتِ والصَّوْمِ، فَمَن صامَ ولَمْ یَحْفَظْ لِسانَهُ کانَ کَمَن قامَ ولَمْ یَقْرَأ في صَلاتِهِ.

ای احمد! هیچ عبادتی نزد من محبوب‌تر از خاموشی و روزه نیست؛ پس اگر کسی روزه بگیرد، ولی مراقب زبان خود نباشد، مانند کسی است که به نماز بایستد ولی در آن قرائت نداشته باشد.

O Ahmad! For me No worship is dearer than silence and fast; so he who is on a fast, but doesn’t take care his tongue, is like to a praying one who says his prayer without qira’at .

خواهش خوار کننده

امام عسکری (عليه‌ السلام):
ما أقْبَحَ بِالمُؤْمِنِ أنْ تَکونَ لَهُ رَغْبَةٌ تُذِلُّهُ.

پیامبر لحظه‌ای نگاه می‌کرد [و به کسی خیره نمی‌شد] و با هیچ‌کس سخنی که آن را نمی‌پسندید، بیان نمی‌کرد.

He [the holy prophet] looked for an instant [and did not gaze at anyone] and did not tell anyone a word that he hated.

ستم به کارگر

پیامبر اکرم (صلّی‌ الله‌ عليه‌ وآله):
مَن ظَلَمَ أجِیراً أجْرَهُ أحبَطَ اللهُ عَمَلَهُ وحَرَّمَ عَلَیهِ رِیحَ الجَنَّةِ، وإنَّ رِیحَها لَیُوجَدُ مِن مَسِیرَةِ خَمْسِمِئَةِ عامٍ.
کسی که مزد کارگری را کم دهد، خداوند عملش را باطل گرداند و بوی بهشت را که از مسافت پانصد ساله به مشام می‌رسد، بر وی حرام کند.

He who pays a worker's wage in less, Allah oblitrates his deeds and forbids for him the fragrance of Paradise which is smelled from a five hundred years distance.

Peggy went to church every Sunday. She loved to go to church. At church she was with her family and friends. At church she was with the saints. She was with the angels. بنده با خوش‌اخلاقی به مقام روزه‌گیر شب‌زنده‌دار می‌رسد.

شكر نعمت

امام کاظم (عليه ‌السلام):
التَّحَدُّثُ بِالنِّعَمِ شُكرٌ وَتَرْكُ ذلِكَ کُفرٌ.
بازگويی نعمتها، شکرگزاری است و ترک آن کفران نعمت است.

بهار قرآن

امام محمّد باقر (عليه ‌السلام):
لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ رَبِيعٌ، وَرَبِيعُ الْقُرآنِ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ.
هر چيزی بهاری دارد و بهار قرآن ماه رمضان است.

Everything has its own spring and the spring of the Ķurān is the month of Ramadan.

امام علی (علیه السلام):
الصَّمْتُ يُكسِْيكَ ثَوْبَ الْوَقَارِ ويَكْفِيكَ مَؤُونَةَ الإعْتِذارِ.

امام على (علیه السلام):
الْمَشْوَرَةُ تَجْلِبُ لَكَ صَوابَ غَیْرِكَ.
مشورت کردن، اندیشه‌های درست دیگران را برای تو به ارمغان می‌‌آورد.

Patty’s Doll

Patty got a doll for Christmas. It is her favorite doll. It is a rag doll. It has a yellow dress. It has a blue blouse. The name of the doll is Molly. Molly has bright red hair. She has red lips. She has blue eyes. She has a pink ribbon in her hair. Molly is wearing red shoes. She’s wearing white socks. Molly has a purse. Her purse is pink. The purse is empty. There is nothing in the purse. There was a little mirror in the purse. But Patty lost the mirror. When she lost the mirror, she said, "I’m sorry, Molly. I will get you another mirror."
